Place a stocking or a end of a pair of tights on the end of water drain pipe to collect fluff etc.... Sticky stuff remover amazon brilliant stuff 😊

Hey mazzy take a old sock and zip ti it to the end of the drain hose before you let the dirty water out of the washer and that will catch the lint from the washer then every once in a while just wash the lint out of the sock hope this helps

Blocked sink and plug holes are aways a pain too clear. The best way to clean that is to remove the plug hole like you was going to do my undoing the screw in the middle clean out the bend and then put the sealant around the flange in the shower tray and refit the drain on top of the sealant then when you tighten up the screw it will make a water proof joint.

Idea I saw somewhere, put a nylon stocking on the end of your washer drain hose secured with rubber band. The lint will collect there & not in your drain!

It got a bit "Frank spencer" like then 😀 , You can use acetone to remove sticky filth but its highly flammable and can desolve certain plastics such as ABS so watch what you use it on, Its also sold as nail varnish remover.

Aww dear blocked drains are never good I had that with my bathroom sink this week but was sorted with a quick fix, we have had heavy rain where I live as well today so had a day indoors not only that not been feeling to great today but cheered myself up with some ladies pampering did my nails looking lovely now love ya both ❤😊xxxx

The screw in the middle of the plug hole holds the plastic trap up against the bottom of the shower tray. There might be a rubber/foam ring between the tray and the trap but not usually sealant. You might be able to buy a new ring and let JP fit it properly :)
