Fixing the Worst Seized Pin and Bushing I’ve Ever Seen

Removing a pin and bushing turned out to take a lot more time than I expected thanks to a fun surprise inside. Follow along as I gouge and cut until I can finally free the pin, replace it, and weld everything back together.

Nice to see videos from you again! One question. You weren't happy that the last person welding around the cylinder on the inside yet you welded the inside when you put in the new piece? I expected you to just weld on the outside since you said they didn't have to do that(regarding the inner welds).

I didn’t weld it all the way around though, but in a way you could easily gouge it off if it needs another repair. But normally whether I disagree with them or not I try to put things back the way the factory had made it, so good question.

Use an oxygen torch split the pin more make a jig weld onto plate from outside and use a big hydraulic ram and press pin out

@@peetky8645 not if supported correctly but if you take an oxygen Lance and burn a hole all the way thru pin it would have came out I do it on a weekly basis and works flawlessly give it a try

I don’t understand why you did all that extra work when you could’ve just continued to torch more of the pin out from the previous hole you made down the center until you were able to pound it out now you’re cutting all them factory welds which I’m sure you’re a fantastic welder. Maybe there’s other things that played a part that you couldn’t do that but seeing you were able to bless the hole down the center of the pen makes me wonder why you didn’t continue to remove material that way to pound pin out
