Fixing this Commander's Massive Drawback.

Its not that massive a downside. Theres a good reason Arcane Denial is considered one of the best counter spells, because one opponent drawing cards isnt that bad when you have three opponents. Each card you play needs to keep in contention with one card from three opponents in a multiplayer format. By copying a spell you've cast youre effectively getting one card free that you dont need to spend mana to pay for, and the downside is one opponent drawing one card. You can accelerate your own game plan twice as fast while only boosting one of your three opponents. If you can make a deal thats even better again.

I take extra turns with alania(or Multiple alanias) to offset this. I’ve taken 8 extra turns in a row with her a few times

one thing I've found is that things that specifically trigger off of crimes such as Magda, the Hoardmaster or Duelist of the Mind work well with alania given that the card draw she gives out is targeted. Bonus points with Duelist of the Mind and the wheel theme.

If you want another group hug card, consider Helm of Awakening! It's like a medallion for EVERY spell. While most players will simply be playing their bigger spells for cheaper, you'll be playing _more_ spells, thus (ideally) getting the most value out of it.

Good cards I wanna add is mob rule and counterspells. You can give advantage and take it all for yourself in a single good turn also, since Alania does not specify in your turn you can cast low cost counterspells, based around a condition such as Mana leak, to counter something twice at the same time.

The only true trouble Alania has is the mana cost. Most of this deck if built right is equal to the highest mana spells which makes her a bit tough to keep mana to protect her against the inevitable removal she is syre to face.

I run medallions and rituals in my Stella Lee deck, and I'm testing out Alania as an alternate commander. I wanna see if they help me cast her reliably. Since the mana curve on my build is a bit on the higher end and I actively avoid infinites, being able to copy the first spell instead of the third seems appealing.

this is horrible deck techj and shows that alania is horribly misunderstood. She storms off incredibly easily without much effort. taking 2 to 3 extra turn with time warp essentially wins you the game on the spot. castring jeskas will give you 6 cards and probably 14 red mana right away, setting you off for huge combos. her gifting a card isn't a drawback when you win the game next turn or even on the spot.

While I agree the downside of Alania is very overblown here, I do like the angle of a group hug spellslinger.
