Kevin Talbot if you want to straighten a bent screw without damaging the threads, you can do it between aluminum, brass, or copper sheets with the hammer

The reason why those driveshafts aren't breaking is because it doesn't have as much torque twist. That is thanks to the portal axles. WELL DONE TRAXXAS

, if you take the front bumper Mount off the crossmember right behind the bumper and flip it upside down you get an extra 3/4 inch height on the bumper

just replaced cracked front bulkhead and front diff covers on X Maxx. lent it out and 1 min later 60kmh into large rock. Murphies law. 2 hour fix with no power tools. Easy to do after watching you wrench. :)

The trx4 is intimidating to work on at first but once you get used to it it's one of the the easiest RCs I have to work on.

Hey kevin, i found out that mine shocks from the trx 4 had air in it. It takes me 1hour to refil the shocks properly. The problem is that you dont have bleeding caps. I just fill the shock than let all the air out. When i srew the cap on the shockbody i hold the shockshaft all the way in and let bleed out of the excessieve oil out slowly. hoop that i help you out! Use a small piece of paper between your tool and the screw or nut or bolt. We use this method quite often where I work due to most of the stuff we work with is brass. It works with Phillips heads and torque bits and all.

Kevin Talbot most likely as I know Harley designs took it apart and his had plastic metal mix of gears but since he took his apart traxxas did a running change and it's now all metal from what I read. I just want to see inside it now that they moved to all metal without pulling mine apart. can't find any pics or videos of it with all metal gears in fact I've only seen Harley designs inside look
