Good morning, I am a retired auto tech and you can test the coil by swapping it with another one from a different cylinder that is misfiring and either monitor it with a scan tool, or check the new code. It is more often than not a bad coil or Spark plug, check the plug's ceramic top for a carbon lightning trail, that could be causing the misfire.
