Two Suggestions: For most other cars, I recommend Purolator Oil Filters (choose The Boss for maximum protection) but a genuine Honda Oil Filter should be used on every Honda Automobile, without exceptions. Also, the Aluminum Crush Washer should ALWAYS be replaced with a new one whenever a Drain Plug is re-installed. These are Single Use items. Thanks for posting the video.

I recommend wearing nitrile gloves when changing oil and, especially, when spraying degreaser. I agree with the other commenters who believe you should replace the aluminum crush washer every time. Back in the days those small CRXs were fast in the UK.But people prefered the Escort RS turbo even thou both were 1.6L (1600cc 4cyl) as it was easier to work on,cheaper to buy.cheap parts and easily available plus the rage for them was huge!.....BUT the CRX could easily keep up! That's what people in the UK didn't realize lol The RS turbo 1.6 only had 8v no twin cam,it was heavier and aerodynamics like a shed.The CRX 1.6L was much lighter,more aerodynamic had twin cam 16v and went like a rocket all the way to the top end.....it was maybe slighty faster but car ins WAS alot more in the day.Wished i had one but only just passed my test :(

Good video I always open the filler cap before draining sump. Quick question is engine oil flush good for the engine
@ThermoNuclearLlama5 жыл бұрын
Depends on how old the car is and if you know the entire history. If you have done regular oil changes then it wouldn't really be necessary. If it's an older car you've purchased then using one of these flushes could dislodge something that might have been keeping an oil leak plugged. So if you notice your car leaking after a flush, you know why.

@ballforlife3605 жыл бұрын
no, use the recommended weight of 5w-20. Here's a quick tip, you can usually mess around with the first number such as 0w20 or 5w20, because that's just the weight of the oil during a certain cold temp, but never change the last number. that's the actual weight of the oil if it say it needs a 20 weight oil, its because of all the tight tolerances of engines and all the different variable valve timing components that have very narrow passageways.
