How to Adjust Headlights - 2017 Silverado Z71 1500

hardest part about adjusting headlights is finding a flat area haha. The adjusting part is really simple.
Here are the steps:
put up to the wall within 8-10"
find center dot on headlights
meassure from ground the dot
mark exact height on the wall
pull away from the wall 25 feet
adjust headlights 2-4" bellow the marked area

Amazing. Had this problem , actuallu HAS this problem with my truck. Asked Murray Chevrolet about it 2 years ago, told they can not adjust it as it is a “solid unit”. Now with short daylight hours problem came up again. I am going to soil my pants if this is how easy it is

Why do you ever need to be 8-10" from the wall? Why not just park the truck back 25' measure the dot, subtract your 2-4" and mark that? I feel like your truck you measure the 50", mark 46-48 on the wall, then set the lights.

I think your right but everyone sets it up like this. Must be because some older vehicles don't have the centerline dot on the lens so they eyeball it close to the wall. I need to do this and will do like you said. Should work the same.

Do measurements depend on lift height? I lifted my 2017 HD 7.5 inches and 37s and people get pretty upset I hate driving at 4 in the morning haha

In tundra there a switch to adjust light on the fly. What I noticed having adjusted all the way up does not providing best results
