Excellent video Geoffrey! May I ask you a question regarding fixtures. If I have to make major changes to the Manufacturing module in ERPNext do you still recommend fixtures because I wouldn't be just adding fields but also doctypes.

This is how it works; If you are creating custom doctypes, all you need to do is add those to a custom app. In the case where you may need to edit doctypes done by Frappe, use custom fields. If you have further questions, you may write to me on codewithkarani.com/

What benefit do you see in making use of "Export Custimizations" over "Fixtures" for custom fields?

Hi, they achieve different functions. Fixtures export your data ans settings, Export customizations take care of the custom fields you have created. It creates a .json file for the custom fields.

i updated to 13.20.1 frappe erpnext. then i made sales order as accounting dimension. When i make payment entry and then when i click on sales order field, then it gives error "%% invalid date fromat string". but this works fine in v13 to 13.19 if you can share your email, i can share it with you
