Used one today to align first stage axial compressor (15 tons) to second stage (8 tons) makes it a lot easier on yourself limiting the number of times you have to make shim changes. 2nd to motor Monday after large bore piping installed and no pipe strain affecting the compressors, never align to the piping.... you pipe to the pump!
