You all have had such a massive positive impact in my life in so many ways over the years. I read positive growth books to help me improve and learn, I have a stack of books so high I probably could make a business at this point reselling them 😂 would love to hear some more book recommendations I have the majority of the ones mentioned besides the older ones. I stopped watching tv a long time ago, I always complain about never having time that changed the second I stopped wasting it. I work out daily and travel as much as I can, my goal is to travel to every country in the world, I am actually heading to India Gao this month! I watch what I eat ensuring it is healthy and beneficial for my body. I am learning about longevity because of you. Not only has my life slowly improved but I am improving as an individual each and everyday by taking small steps towards my goals and health. Thank you for having such a positive impact in my life truly ❤️

For most of us it is hard to reach these goals with regular jobs no matter how much you make a vision board. The reason this easy for you to feel like you can educate people on this is because you had the foundation of KZbin and it was a family initiative. So as much as we strive for these things regular life tends to get in the way of trying our hardest

True maybe the job that you have not letting take the vacation time you need to do something your dream to come true. Also, think about your job. Does it bring meaning and makes you happy and gives you flexibility to go on vacation etc.. some don’t. Yes for them is easier for them to achieve the goals. You also can try to figure out. How can you achieve them too.

@@abunnylife yes I work 2 jobs and I'm homeless 1 full time 1 part time and still not enough to afford a vehicle and house or apt . Inflation has made it so hard to do anything and make any dreams happen.. when you can't even get through your daily life I'm always constantly panicking and worrying all day.. can't even have friends anymore or do anything cuz I can't go out to eat, can't shop or do anything fun.. my friends I had all lived at home with their parents and have hardly any Bills and always shop, travel or go out to eat... I have to get my debts paid off from medical Bills and other things so I can afford rent and I would need a first month, deposit and last months rent all at once to move in a place around here so 900 a month rent but I need 900 x 3 so 2700 total to give a landlord and move in and get started so I'm stuck unfortunately.. I wish I could sit down and do something like this and relax in a home that was mine ❤️🙏

Hey, thanks for your comment. :) Absolutely understand your point of view and I want to take the time to reply because I really want this video to help people. This has been a 14 year journey for us so our goals now are far different than what they were back then and not everyone's goals need to be, or even should be the same. A lot can happen in 14 years and setting goals is relative to the individuals life, not someone else's. Our initial goals were to get healthy so we could be the best parents we can be to our children. Most changes we made actually saved us time and money. We stopped drinking alcohol = saved money and felt better, stopped smoking = saved money and felt better, stopped watching TV = saved money and lots of time, stopped socialising with the wrong people = saved money and time, started going to bed earlier = felt better, started eating fruit, veg, beans, grains, nuts and seeds instead of animal products, fried foods, takeaways = felt better, started drinking water instead of sugary drinks = saved money and felt better. But the main thing is we changed our mindsets and outlook on life. We took inspiration from others rather than feeling like it's easy for them but not for us. Focusing on the future we wished for and taking steps towards it, rather than allowing a childhood of trauma, poverty and broken family to control our present moment. So this isn't about shiny objects or comparison, it's about taking steps towards a positive future where we are happier and healthier. But it's all relative to the individual and of course there are still always lessons along the way, but taking positive steps and seeing the bigger picture is the key. Nothing happens overnight, but just focusing on each single decision is what has helped me, such as whether to put on the running shoes or sit on social media. In fact, using a running analogy is perfect here, as in a marathon it is recommended to just focus on each next step rather than worrying about how many miles may lay in front of you. So it's the same with setting goals, it's important to just focus on each step towards the goal rather than worrying about how far away the finish line may be. And to be honest the final finish line is really the end of life anyway, so it's much better to enjoy the process along the way and not be in a rush to immediately achieve what we see took someone else 10, 20, 30 years etc. Wishing you all the best in whatever it is that you want to achieve and if it appeals to you I'd recommend listening to some motivational authors such as Jim Rohn (whose talks you can find here on YT). - Darren

As a working single mother for a almost 12 year old daughter I find your videos so relaxing to watch. I hope that our lives get "easier" and our dreams will come true somedays. Sometimes I just wonder how it will happen 😢🩵

The biggest thing is not to focus on the biggest how and the biggest result but the self soothing and daily successes. Once your brain starts to feel successful in perceived small things those bigger things will randomly appear and become more possible without you even having necessarily done specific things for that. Think about how you feel everyday and what you’d say to a friend or even a child with similar feelings to yourself that day. This teaches your body and mind you are there for it and teaches it not to block possibility! Commend yourself for anything small and be gentle for anything you perceive as a failure. It’s nice to have a large vision board to simply dream at least. But what makes the biggest difference and before you even notice is the energy and self thought you give out each day or even just some reset each week. Much love to you and best of luck! Less focus on specific when will something happen or how and more daily little steps to create the energy or vibe that you envision around those bigger goals. As humans we like specifics and control but then we are constantly under a subconscious pressure rather than a continuous calm and hopefulness. What you what may not come from something you do but if your energy inside yourself and or perception of your current life is full of doubt or anxiety you may miss the opportunities or not be ready for them when they appear ❤

Hi, i just wanted to say that your family is very inspiring and i love that you guys put this video out because hearing you talk about creating these mood boards really changed how i viewed some things. I always thought i couldnt work as hard or would make excuses that i couldnt be a good as i wanted to at something because of my money or how big my house was and i didnt have space to get better( i do dance so i need more space to practice) or because I am not rich enough to buy what i need but you guys made me realize that if i want to reach my goals i have to just work and my success will show and that if i really wanted something or to get better at something i just have to do it instead of complaining and if i dont have space then i have to make space. Slightly different, but I did a mindful collage session with a yoga teacher at a local retreat centre in the UK. We used various magazines, and there wasn't a set theme, but it could be Christmas, the New Year, random, etc, or we could challenge ourselves to just use a single magazine. A lot of fun!

I’ve actually purchased vision board magazines. They have all types of photos to cut and they are organized into categories already to make it easy to find. It helps keep the cost down when purchasing materials.

If you could do quarterly updates on the vision boards with more talk...especially with Darren...that would be great! Loved this..and apparently Canva have digital visionboard templates...and a few other websites have free pics you could incorporate...so if you are traveling and can't carry around a physical board...you can make a digital one for free.

Another great tip is that when you are creating a vision board you are essentially creating what you vison, so think what would you see if this was actually happening. So for examples have photos from a “POV” and avoid having people they aren’t you. Another tip is that you are essentially tricking your mind into thinking this is already happening so for example if you want to travel actually edit the boarding pass to have your name etc!!

If you haven’t already, we’d really recommend reading the book “Manifest” by Roxie Nafousi, and “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne. Both books would be great for reading a little bit each day and keeping your brain on track with positive thoughts and affirmations.
