bad weather or not - always better to be out in the woods! which rooftop tent are you rockin? i didn't think i wanted one but yours looks pretty simple.

Couldn’t agree more rain or shine I’ll take it! I’m running the Smitty built rooftop tent it’s been great so far even after 2 years of use

Depending where you live, you might want to think about bears before thinking about the rooftop tent. We only have Black Bears where I am but we also have human predators. I love the concept of the rooftop tent but would not feel safe utilizing it at night. I want to be able to drive away from any potential problems. This leaves out the possibility of sleeping in a trailer, too. “Time out, Mr Bear while I couple my trailer and jump into my FJ.” Nah. I’m just going to have to sort out sleeping in the vehicle, itself, and perhaps use the roof for storage. Just my perspective. I may be watching too much true crime and SCARY BEAR ATTACKS 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah the wind kept us up all night! I’m using the DJI mini2 it’s affordable and compact! Also able to fly In most locations as it is under a certain weight limit
