Having built a few rigs from the ground up for myself over the years I have to grin at you for two things. 1. Total fearlessness. 2. Managing to grin a bit after having been treated so poorly by the now defunct company in Socal. This is a high five from a "brother" who's been where you are and fully understands the grind required to figure out and overcome each hurdle without throwing a cord over the rafters and finishing yourself off. I will be totally selfish and expect to see some vid of this thing off road very soon and hope to cross paths with you on the trail some day. Donnie in Florida

In Australia this is a common swap on our N70 breed of hilux which shares a front end with the fj cruiser (suspension wise) it was pretty cool to see how it gets done over there, in aus people often use 80 series land cruiser or Nissan patrol diffs and steering boxes for steering set up, cool none the less using the diffs you used, definitely caught me off guard the cutting you did to it all tho

Such a great build. If you were going to go 37’s or max 40’s. Could you have kept it lower? And would have it been any easier for some of the brackets/ geo?
@offroadhub.official2 жыл бұрын
The brackets and geometry wouldn't have changed. If I was going to stick to 37's I wouldn't use 1 ton axles, the ground clearance would be pretty bad. So, building to 37's would be different in many ways, but the bracket and link locations I used could still be used.
