Fjällräven Classic 2014

My own movie from Fjällräven Classic 2014. It was a wonderful adventure with both happy and hard moments. The movie is mostly in Swedish but i think it shows how a 110 kilometer walk trought this beautiful landscape can look and feel like, no matter what language you speak. Enjoy! :)

Oh, I'm absolutely thrilled. Memories are awakened. I was on the exact same route in 1993. I did this tour after my first really big, intense self-awareness (therapy). That's why this trip was probably the most beautiful so far in my life. This space, this vastness, this incomparable beauty of creation moved me to tears time and again. I was to have done the Classic last year (2015) but another trip kept getting pushed back to the point that the end of the trip was just one day before the start of the Classic so I had to forego my entry fee. I still hope to do it.

I did this in the first crossing of the Andes by foot by the runners club, accompanied with both armies who had been in collision over border issues for years. It was 2002. 3 days, 30 km per day, up and over. Was the best time and the worst moments of pain and endurance. I would do it again. Maybe higher then France Base camp of the Aconcagua.

Bra jobbat, trevlig video! Tips är ju att använda vandringsstavar, speciellt om man inte är i superform och ovan vandrare. Hjälper oerhört mycket när man har tung packning.

+Eric Jonasson Jag provade vandringstavar några km när jag var i norge, blev galen och slängde dem. De hade varit bra att ha när jag korsade starka strömmar men vid klättring var de jobbiga :-)
