I'm usually not worried about the elements, but about pickpockets getting into my purse, so I would never put my phone in an outer pocket without a zipper. Apart from that, I'm so tempted by this bag!

You shouldn't need to apologise for the pronunciation of fjallraven. You aren't Swedish, so most people from other countries will get it wrong. All those upset people are just being pedantic! You can pronounce it however you like. I still say Nike, instead of the proper pronunciation of Nikey.

Apple solution is cutting it in slices and putting slices in zip lock bag. The sling, yes it's bigger. But less water/spill resistant. The Sling is "not" made of the G-1000 material. With the Greenland wax you can make anything such as this (G-1000) pocket even more resistant to water/ spills. Fair warning though, do not assume the real leather fox patch symbol is in anyway water resistant. It is NOT. You can wax it. But that only protects the front not the back (of course). The sling, like the Pocket you can't throw it in the washing machine. It will fade the color especially at the folds. My zip backpack did well washing it in the sink. But again, DO NOT SUBMERGE OR GET THE FOX PATCH WET. If you need to clean the patch probably a slightly "damp" q tip would be okay. Just be mindful the leather dye does come off. So be gentle. If you want bigger, it's just common sense not to get anything called "Pocket".

Love your review! Very natural. I had no idea how to pronounce Fjallraven (F-yall-rAYven is how I was saying it). I was looking for something that might fit a little book/phone/wallet/mask etc now.

I need bags like this to do my work, I walk around in fancy pants, then you need a bag to put your phones in and cards, I have 2 phones 1 personal 1 office phone. You can't walk around with your laptop mouse and 2 phones and your wallet. That's bs. You don't do that, you get a thing like this it's really helpful. You can wear it under your coat if your worried it gets cut of you.

Kanken sling is way better as it can fit more item but the size still small and compact

You can get more in it but depending on you body it does not fit nicely against your body. I am a short lady with some hips and I could never find a place for it to sit comfortably as a crossbody bag. Definitely, love the sling, but it just did not work for me.

"average size book" ? Please upgrade that part of your rewies to something that has a real fixed size, like: A4 and A5 notebook... and for US-viewers a composition notebook. The same when your team uses waterbottles. - Use 0.5 liter bottelse (water, pepsi etc. - just something that realy are recognisable). In this case: I would like to know it this bag can be used to carry a A5-sketchbook, a Fjällräven Kånken Pen Case / Kånken Gear Pocket ... and if it is also can hold a 0.5 liter soda-bottle I want it. - - Oh and just don't say the band name. Just write it in the title and show it.
