Nice review! stubben is swedish word for tree stump :) thats why the rain cover looks like it (in the older model).

Another excellent review. Yes its an awesome day pack and very comfortable. Great also for photography - I often use the seat function for camera stabilisation etc.

Hi! Norrøna was the first company to release a backpack with this design in the nineties, on their model Stolsekk 40 liter. Today Härkila have a similar design on the Metso rucksack chair. As far as I know, these are all based on the same design (or patent), and are the only brands who have made such backpacks. I think both Fjällräven and Härkila are the only brands who makes such today. The original Norrøna backpack missed the front zipper, and this feature makes the other models more versatile.

Hello. Do you think that it would be suitable as a photography bag. Camera and long lens attached.

Hi. I think if got some foam protective inserts it would be ideal for photography, especially as you'd be able to sit on the bad in damp weather

Hi mate, just came across your channel, liked and subscribed 👍🏼 Chris, already subscribed to yours 👍🏼 love Fjallraven gear, have a few garments myself...the only complaint I have is the price....it is a bit expensive for the average outdoorsman in the UK. But my mantra is buy once cry once. It lasts for years. Cheers, Allan

Stubbe means stump in swedish. Hence the pattern and name. Stubben means "the stump"
