The gift of romancing the love of your life all over again is something very few people get to experience. As a man I am so envious of Travis. It would be such a joy to get to fall in love with your wife all over again. Honestly it's a blessing. Even to get to pretend to do it is such a beautiful thing to see and must be so fun to go thru

Taliesin was a victim of similar tactics in campaign 1. Jester and Vex both are people who will take fun measures to ensure their love interests fall in line. Just look at the Wine scene from campaign 1 or the evening of regret.

How the hell has this not been asked about on Talks Machina? 2:02:00 Jester talks to Nott about the Fjord Kiss of Life. 2:09:40 Jester talks to Traveler about how to get Fjord to like her. Fjord so close to getting fjucked. 2:54:00 Jester talks down Fjord from a suicidal plan and has to massage his bruised ego at 2:55:00 2:55:23 Fjord mentions his "way" with elvish folk to Jester and regrets it (I felt the heat off that glare through the screen).

It could also be her talking about the beautiful possibilities that come up and you see in passing that are just outside your grasp and you will forever wonder "what if". I could be looking too far into it or just scratching the surface, either one is possible with Laura Bailey.

In the actual canon we could say it's because Fjord has been surrounded by so many different accents (Caleb's Zemnian, Jester's Nicodranian(?), Yasha's Xorhassian etc.) his own just kind of averaged out. In real life it's probably just a personal choice
