Wait - you found a random supermarket open at that time of the night other than 7-11? That`s crazy. Where did/do you live? I used to live in Hatanodai and Fujisawa, but I think most markets were closed by 10 or 11. Glad it worked out for you!

I think so yeah. It is a difficult thing for many to eat. Natto is hard on foreigners and liquorice is hard for Japanese to enjoy 😁
