Having the plugin picker and being able to drag it directly to the mixer (while avoiding linking/coloring/renaming) just made FL12 that much better.

Vitunveijari how about no? in his viewers track reviews i have heard some freakin mindblowing songs from ppl "unknown" yet. I understand, however, that all these very young producers still have a lot of stuff to learn. By the way check out my tracks and find out if I created anything good :) (not saying I am sooo good, but yeahh)

Omen Ahead Most of the "viewer track reviews" are awful. No harmony or emotion. Just mindless edm mostly with shitty production. Your standards for music are too low.

People really love to complain. I started watching this guy when I was 14, I'm not from an English speaking country. And even then, I was still able to understand everything important. I've only barely used FL before and Seamless has helped me a lot to understand what everything is, where everything is and how it works. These are the best tutorials you can find on KZbin, other tutorials are either too robotic (eg. the guy doing them has no personality), or they just don't know what they're talking about, or the quality is of the video is very poor. The best way to learn is to watch every single video from this series and then watch one full series of his "Track From Scratch" videos. You get all the knowledge you can, then you watch Stephen use this knowledge and after that, you can start using the knowledge on your own. I personally recommend the Glitch Hop Track From Scratch, or the first Electro Track From Scratch. Yes, that is a lot of watch time, but you won't just become a producer overnight.

Hey SeamlessR! Thanks for the great intro series. Just installed FL Studio with the intention of becoming a rap producer and decided to watch your tutorials after a recommendation on r/makinghiphop. Quick question, should I get a instrument pad/drum pad/plug in keyboard for my computer? I've seen a lot of producers use it so I was wondering how necessary it is, and if it is necessary, if you have any models to recommend. Thank you!
@Architector_4

If you don't need to play instruments live on set, then you don't need any of that, really. And even if you'd go live or want to mess around or try out instruments instantly, you can use "Typing keyboard to piano" button above pattern selector that looks like half-keyboard-half-piano. RMBing it provides more options to choose. And if you have Wi-Fi connection with your Android/i-- uhh Apple device, you can find an app called "Image-Line Remote" in Google Play or App Store - basicly a launchpad/keyboard/midi knobs and buttons thing that works with FL. And if that's limiting aswell(like battery of device or too small screen), you can buy a big tablet and use it for same+other purposes, or an actual keyboard/launchpad/whatever. btw, these keyboards/launchpads/whatevers are called "MIDI devices" for short.
