One of the things I like about your videos is that you don't talk. It's nice to see someone work without interruption or inserting opinion (be it good or bad). Your videos also demonstrate how you can develop something original rather than just clone what the tutorial is doing. Your music and demonstrations are appreciated! I look forward to them.

I'm very much inspired by your tutorials. I really do appreciate your talent... I've a request...Can you please make a tutorial on how to make a progressive trance track from scratch to end. That will be really helpful for us.

Max how did you learn to make good chord progressions? I know you've previously commented saying you have a lot of experience and know them all off by heart, but how did you learn in the beginning, was it just trial and error if you have never studied music theory or taken music lessons? I'm really interested to know how you personally went about learning to compose.
@MaxBraiman8 жыл бұрын
+Mark Carlyon i just practiced remaking every song i heard and eventually got the feel of it, also analyzing MIDI files when i first started producing. i dont know any music theory or studied anything related to it. everything ive done is trial and error, almost 10 years of it lol
@marksamuel93828 жыл бұрын
+Max Braiman I'm am gobsmacked. You seem to know what everything does to get the best results. Right I'm getting off here now and gonna start practising more! Cheers. You should do some tutorials on arrangement...

@Bravo20AirsoftUK9 жыл бұрын
Question. So if we buy the flp does it include all the preset sounds and stuff? I'm really tempted to buy it as this seems like it could really help me learn new things. Unlike most free flp files that have No tutorial to go with it unlike this.
@MaxBraiman9 жыл бұрын
Bravo20AirsoftUK the ones that are on my producer box have all the presets and samples within the project, you just need to own the plugins in order to use them
@eriklucasmusic8 жыл бұрын

Max, would you say changing the key of a track has an effect on the feeling of the track? Isn't it the same note intervals at the end of the day?
@boubander99174 жыл бұрын
I would say yes, obviously.
@sideshowmike20748 жыл бұрын
I got Spire but from what library or what is the preset of that Pad and Pluck?
@MaxBraiman8 жыл бұрын
+Sideshow Mike its a standard saw pluck processed heavily with vocodex and akustix, there is also pitch lfo on it to make a slight vibrato
@sideshowmike20748 жыл бұрын
Really thankfull for the answer love your tutorials I really inspire to make music with these I would like to see a commercial trance tutorial for example like RAM - Grotesque (Ram & Alex Morph remix) with Square saws that i really want to learn how to make them

Niec one bruh, culleb ?
@friendselfdone9 жыл бұрын
why are you changing pitch?
@MaxBraiman9 жыл бұрын
Roberts Greibers It fixes my ears, I dont know why this happens to me. Like if I hear the same thing over and over again it will get really annoying, when I change the pitch its like im hearing it for the first time and it sounds good again. Maybe there is a technical term for this, I will never know.
