FL Studio - Draw Custom Waveforms in Sytrus (Tutorial)

This video demonstrates how you can create a single-cycle waveform in Sytrus.
EXTRA NOTE: If you're wondering why there is a slight difference between your drawn waveform and the one that shows up on the oscilloscope, go into the MAIN tab at the top of Sytrus and turn Oversampling off. The waveform should now be 100% exact to what you entered. This might have other implications (especially aliasing) so beware.
EXTRA NOTE 2: You might notice some crackling with oversampling set low. It might be overkill, but you can set your oversampling to 8x (or 16x) to get rid of them. Take note that this is very expensive for a simple waveform.

for those wondering, if you want to modulate the volume, you can do it by sending it to the next filter with the "next" wheel. If you do it in the original filter, it doesnt work right.

Man, thank you a lot! Finally I found a useful tutorial of how to draw waveforms in a decent way. I'm into making some chiptune music in MilkyTracker, but the only thing that annoyed me is that you had to draw custom waveforms there by hand peak-by-peak. I didn't know vector drawing of a waveform could be achieved so esily with sytrus. Thank you a lot :)

in my synthesizer a single patch contains 4 sounds. can I make sound same to that patch(or near to patch sound) in sytrus for midi keyboard. is it possible??????

As far as I know, the demo is fully functional except for the ability to reload your saved projects. Therefore, all FL Studio tutorials should be doable. :)

I may have some idea. May sound dump but whatever sound you make you can render as audio and than load it in the sample player FL comes with. The sample player has all kinds of cool features. So you can use any synth in FL to make sounds even if they are demo version and than use them as samples. I know it sounds crazy but may be just what you need. You can continue shaping the sound using the tools available to you in FL.

Question; Is there a way to increase the grid size? I'm trying to mimic a specific duty cycle with 32 steps but Sytrus only has 16. Is there a way around this without having to eyeball the values?

To my knowledge, there is no way to change the grid. Being able to do triples in the grid for micro-sequencing would be awesome! Think I'll suggest this one to IL and see what they have to say.
