mastering is super important but most people think its the missing piece to make their music amazing. trust me i used to think like this too, but its wrong - its all about the mix. great video, i also use the EQ to change the levels in my tracks, its nice because u can see how many DB's you are reducing/boosting - which is something u cant see in fruity balance
@Bassjackers6 жыл бұрын
true, exactly that! And it's important to find your own way in mixing & mastering, I hope that most can find their way a bit easier now :)

For headroom in the beginning of the mix I always put down the volume on the sampler or the synth because if you put the volume down in your mixer track and you start adding fx on it and it raises in volume it also can clip but you dont see it cause you put the volume fader lower :) but thanks for the tips 🤗

Hey!! Great Video Brother! I really respect/appreciate your time and effort you put in teaching us get better. I'm sorry i forgot to reply back on one of your older videos where i had probelms with opening one of your projects. But it got solved by upgrading the FL Studio to the latest that is 20. And now it works.... yaay!! Brother when you grow old and might not want to go to sets anymore you can definetely start a school for music production anywhere in the world. You can hire different Teachers for different genres.. This is just an idea dont get it wrong... :) we dont want you to get off sets.... just an idea... Anyways Looking forward to more and more of these signed by Bassjackers Videos. #Bassjackers #Respect

I have a question How did you get -6dbs of headroom if your mixer tracks are too high??
@hristogergov89216 жыл бұрын
maybe he use the volume knob in the sample where is the pitch at but i could be wrong
@kirtishivapurkar80266 жыл бұрын
As he said most of the tracks are bounced, hence the audios he used might have lowered volume already...
@SlayerDarkRaver6 жыл бұрын
Before you start mixing your track. Start by setting all sounds to peak at -12 db. Mix your track around your kick. After that you will have plenty of headroom (you should land around -10 to -9 db).
@マシュードーラン5 жыл бұрын
SlayerDarkRaver Might be easier to shoot for -6 though if you want to compete with the established signed guys
