Alternate rush B strat: If your team spawns towards B, and you're close to mid, tell your team to rush B as you run down suicide and spam your glock to distract the CT's. This ensures there's MAX 1 person on B site, works like 70% of the time because it all relies on your teammates pushing B effectively. Obviously this won't work in high elo, I mostly use this with friends or in comp

My friends and I like to do this when we have like 4 guys spawn towards B and one further back to mid / long. 4 guys just push fast to B, one guy jumps down suicide and throws a molo instantly to mid doors, followed by a nade and the just tries to distract an enemy from going to B site. Its helpful since no ct can be lower B or the mid guy can call if an enemy pushed through the molo. In general, molo down to mid doors can be quite effective. It's a bit risky on higher elo, since ct's might have a good mid awper who could kill the guy pushing down suicide.

Legitimately floofy, I gotta agree with the other commenter here. You just need to play it. If you wanna get a feel for it before you play it in comp or premier, open the map in like practice with bots and fly around learning all the callouts. Maybe watch some basic util for the map, and also look up how to play t/ct side on ____

what i find challenging is rushing long when there are enough cts or they are competent enough and throw counter-smokes. pug t just fail to properly clear angles and be aware of any gaps that poorly executed smokes leave. trades come hard as well. so often you have to throw utils, to entry clear and to trade all at once and pray that your teammate could somehow manage other angles and smoke pushes.

All these dust videos keep talking about throwing flashes and smokes but in reality you barely get any chance to use them more than once.

good long flashes are essential. you just make sure you lineup them correctly both for ts and cts. they work like a charm and not once. if other team got used to your t smokes - use them as a fake.

I actually like to smoke half the A site meaning goose, flash and peek. Been doing it since cs:go. My own line up. Easy for ninja plants. I've been trying to get this smoke out there to see the pro use it or something. I have some videos on my channel. The first video is a clutch with that line up. I even made a line up for B that splits it in half. For some 5v4 retakes. It's on my channel. Even been messing with some lurk smoke line ups for Overpass A and B site.

It is hard to jump-throw now especially since there is no more jump-throw bind. How do you do it consistently?

actually it is super consistent, the devs have made sure that if you release your grenade somehow CLOSE to the correct timing it will execute a perfect jump-throw. If you hit the correct timing you character will make a certain breathing sound to signal that you did it correctly

We don't get to carry a dozen smokes or flashes, all these tutorials keep talking about using utilities.

You only need 1 smoke and a flash or two for all the areas he described for any solo plays. Mid: mid smoke and a flash. Long: 2x flash, maybe a corner smoke B: 1 smoke and a flash The only times you *need* a second smoke is when you’ve succeeded out of long and need cross smoke, and most people know that, or some CAT/B rotate plays after you smoked mid doors.
