There’s no point of going from 0w20 to 5w20… you want a higher viscosity grade for the higher temp which is the second number when you’re going to track

Yes I know lol but 5w-20 is slightly thicker than 0w-20 at higher temps as well even though they are both 20’s just not to the point of a 30 weight. If you look at a chart comparing the 3 you’ll see. The racing line from amsoil has special additives that combats heat as well. I’m on stock tune, and this oil has done really well on track for me so I don’t see the need to upgrade to a 30 weight.

@@lui.racing curious, what were your oil temps looking like on track?

@@da-yh3uy The highest was 280 degrees Fahrenheit but the averages was around 270. It was like 106 outside lol
