The view at ~ 9:49 is pretty spectacular, looking down over the lower portions of the city and the bay! As the city gradually builds out, that neighborhood by the highway interchange would be a primo spot for redevelopment into a mixed-use, residential/commercial/office area. I can see some of the warehouse-y buildings surviving piecemeal, as if they were converted lofts or something, but dense, mid-rise development with those views would be super cool. Also, per the bridge's road texture -- just pretend it's being repaved, put a couple cone props along the sides, and we can all play pretend XD. That's always my solution in the game: "well... it's ... under construction. It's a city, y'know?"

A monorail, train or bus or some type of transportation to the zoo would be ideal. Definitely would like to see a live gameplay of the zoo though. Some ideas for the zoo name are, The Bay Zoo, Zooland, Wildlife Park

On the opposite side of your new bridge, you should make that your highrise section. Your downtown area near the coast. You'll have the resources to plan ahead and accordingly. Get your infrastructure set and BAM, on your way to create a great skyline from your main city/now suburbs

Monarto or Taronga would be good names for zoos if you're still going with Aussie place names! Other names of wildlife sanctuaries that I know of are Cleland and Warrawong :)

I don't know why it's like that but you should move your motorway where the industrial is. Move it towards the sea (remove the curve) & then use the motorway as a barrier between industrial & offices/commercial.

Add beach props like towels and umbrellas to Seven Mile Beach and maybe another pier. Also the zoo should be a Zoo & Botanical gardens like the name came up as, just have unique flower beds and plants with paths going all around them

Terraform the ground under the bridge leading to the Zoo so the ocean water fills a mini lagoon underneath. I think it would make the bridge look better

Bay Point Zoo Maybe turn the highway at the top of the point right after the bridge that you added (continuing up the coast) and add a much more rural road winding down to the zoo. It doesn't look like this will be a really large area and the road seems a bit large to end at its current spot. Also the monorail seems a bit bulky to put that far down for,just a zoo but I like the ferry idea.

You should build the main road to the zoo on the other side of the mountains where it's flatter and there's loads more room. Or, alternatively, have a kind of access only service road to it (because the game needs a road connection) but have you main tourist transport as like a monorail over the mountains or something

James, I would enjoy it if you sometimes took a few minutes to get close in and linger in various parts of your cities at a Sim's eye level, to really get a feel for the character of the neighborhoods.

The reason for the lack of workers in the expanded industrial area might be that they are only level one, hence only hiring uneducated workers. People will automatically educate themselves, so adding more residential won't help. You can probably fix the problem quite easily by making sure that all your industry is upgraded They will then hire more educated workers :) Great series!, the city is looking so good!

For the shore keys mod you should try to lower the ground level so water starts to flow in, because you need a shore line for it to work, just in case if you do use this method save before. Use the way I say then you can raise the ground level again. If it doesn't work just forget about it

Is it worth doing a subway connection from the train station to the zoo? Or is it to far? Just thinking with the subway being built into the train station already. Also dont do a bridge across the bay, use the ferries.

I have a question about that strange interchange at the entrance of your city. Would in be better to have the elevated 4 lane road be directly connected to the highway then the ramp connect to the larger road then what it does now. I believe it would allow you to add additional direction to that elevated road then trying later to ajuste it. It just doesn't look and sound right. Plus I believe it would redirect more trafic to specific lane before they ever arrived at your city elimination any futur bottleneck situation at your city entrance.
