Love the original(made some back then!!!) and the variations but I made the mistake of using a little bit too thick thread and I had to figure out a way not to do the “funky turnarounds” and all that back stitch to go forward. Worked super well and earring is still sturdy!!!

Hi Kelly! I have and idea for you! If you fold the thread yo don’t have a knot at the begging of the beading ! That way is not a possibility to the thread to brake! And also the thread doesn’t tangle! I hope not interfere but gave some word of wisdom from my teacher from high school! Maybe 50 years ago! Lol Ty again for you kindness and time!

I have some bugle beads that aren’t marked as to what size they are. Could you explain how I would measure them?

The best thing to do it to get you a caliper and measure them or use a ruler to measure and then covert the inches to mm. You can do this easily only by google searching inches to mm. Once you have your mm measurement you’ll know exactly the size you’ve got.
