Fladbury weir river Avon. new PB

Fladbury weir, theatre of dreams. Got some fabulous memories from years ago in its heyday. One particular session produced 29 Barbel and 14 chub. Well worth the journey from Middlesbrough on our annual 10 day pilgrimage to wonderful Evesham. Well done Mick and thanks for bringing back those treasured memories for me.

That’s a brilliant fish buddy. Really is & really chuffed for you !! Although I don’t think anyone will be ever as chuffed as you 😀😀👍🏽👍🏽…. Me and my old man went there A couple of years ago and had some nice fish. I was lure fishing and had some nice pike and some lovely stripey’s …. Dad was after the chub and Barbel !!! When we were there it absolutely poured it down as well. That place must be a magnet for rain but you stuck it out & you reaped the rewards !! Top man 👍🏽😀

Hi mate great video !!!!!! i just got in to fishing, idealy want to fish for food, i live just nexy to the bit of river avon where it meets the river trym, im going down sunday when the tide is at its highest and will take a 2 lb weight 50 pound line and using earth worms i caught as bate, how do you think i will do? And can you eat all of the fish avalible on river avon? I have a licsence, thanks!!
