What is your recommendation for a "proper weight" when using carriage bolts? I have heard so many different opinions. (1.5 &3, 2&3, etc...)

The weight depends on you I think Because when I get it everyone had a different weighted bolt and you get people fighting over flags saying hey this is my flag this is my flag because they can feel the difference in the weight so I think it's more of a preference I'm not entirely sure though that was just my personal experience

I personally use a 4” bolt at the top and 3” bolt at the bottom. But for my students I used a 3” bolt on top, and a 2” bolt at the bottom; it was the best ratio for weight for beginners/returnees and to use for both indoor and outdoor seasons.
