A treaty splitting up Russia would only cause Russian nationalism to spread and unite Russia again, either by voting, or by force. It would only make people think Putin was justified - which he is not at all. Also, putting any capitalist government in charge of China - the second-highest populated country in the world; with that only being because of the 2 child policy - would be a horrible idea. China already has enough factory-slaves (and I call them slaves because of them having to sleep in the warehouses in which they work, as well as just having poor living conditions) in its economic zones; expanding that to the entire region of China is horrifying and would only bring authoritarian thought. That’s what happens when you control that many people (arguably what China is now, with how undemocratic their system of government is; but that’s for all one-party governments, and to a lesser extent, party-governments as a whole). China serious issues, but capitalism isn’t the answer. Capitalism would make it all worse. Also, Taiwan’s only “Democratic” because of its low population; and that was only after Chiang Kai-Shek died. Also, the ROC’s leading political party besides the Kuomintang is the Independentists. With Mainland China being ruled by the ROC, they disappear. This means that Greater Taiwan, as I’ll call it here, would seek to reunify not only all lands owned under Greater China, but all lands under the Qing Empire, meaning war with Siberia, potentially having Nationalist China + Nationalist Russia be allies - so we’re back to the point we were at before, just China is capitalist now, and bigger. TLDR; We’re back to where we started, just China’s bigger and more people suffer, and Russian imperialism would skyrocket. Side note: Taiwan is a real country. In no way am I denying that. Taiwan is its own independent state with its own independent people, and I hope it remains that way forever. I was just explaining that “Socialism with Chinese characteristics” - which I think may be a form of Market Socialism? Or maybe Capitalist Communism?? Yes that’s a real thing - is the best plan for China at the moment. It definitely needs to improve its living conditions, since rural China isn’t a good place to live in at all, but I feel Capitalism would only harm the situation further. Also, with the Uyghur people, they definitely should have levels of autonomy inside China and have the right to not be victims of cultural genocide - the eradication of a groups culture, which is considered genocide. Although, I’ve never been to China - let alone Uyghurstan/East Turkestan - so I wouldn’t exactly know; I still won’t discount it happening though, authoritarian governments do authoritarian things.
