Same here. I probably would know very little about somewhere like Mongolia or Kyrgyzstan if it weren't for these videos. They may take up more time, but that only means that there's more interesting things to learn about the country. On top of that, if the videos getting longer means there's more to learn about the country, then I'm all down for it.

Also, isn't the point of Geography now supposed to be long and informative? I think the Russia and American Episodes are great considering how much information they put on there. I like having the videos long and perfectly fine if they were longer, I mean can one describe a culture in one word? Not to mention there is so much that a country you can mention food, nature, natural geography, political geography, the many cultures the country has (also immigration in the country or the situation of it's refugees), I'm only listing a few here. I love geography and I am a geography enthusiast, I find the argument of making videos shorter bizarre considering what this channel is for.

I think the US's flag is well designed for the most part but how the 50 stars are aligned always kind of annoyed me as they aren't in rows of five but that's a minor gripe. But yeah it certainly is overused but on the other hand there are many who love the flag and some like to demonstrate it to others.

@@meowmeowmcpurrington2480 The biggest problem is they need to be white stars, so you can't just draw a normal star shape with cross-crossing lines and then color the stars in. I’ve been watching your videos for years and I’ve noticed and appreciate just how much more in-depth they’ve become. Generally speaking, I find that an organized video with clearly defined segments makes skipping around a viable way to still enjoy in small bits an otherwise long video. Perhaps reminding the viewer that they *have* the option to skip through without missing anything crucial to enjoying the video would reduce the complaining about its length (it also subtly hints that how they feel about a long video is *their* problem and not yours).

i love the longer videos! I feel like country videos are a repository of all the info you need about a country, and including every aspect of a country is very crucial for the video to not be a narrated factsheet. I would just spent just a little less time sports/music/dance because I want to know more about the day to day life, culture and most importantly the brief geographical/historic/cultural information about the major cities in that country! From your videos we get a good idea about the country as a whole, and from provincial videos we get to know about the provinces, but most people don't know what the difference is between major cities in the country. For a foreigner, Las Vegas and New York city may seem the same because they're flashy, or they could know absolutely nothing about what the difference between Mumbai and Delhi is, or have no idea about the history of European cities...

The last five minutes of the USA video are some of the best work you've ever done. Had me misty-eyed, for real. And people complaining about how long the video was, are always free to not watch it. Keep doing you, Barbs. Uruguay is up next!

I love the long videos! Partially because I see the end of the alphabet coming and I don't want the content to end.

The USA-your home country as well as mine deserves a long episode. It was done well and always things to include like so on flag fan day Friday. It was a great presentation; but there are a lot of great English speaking cowboy’s. I think most of the world understands that stereotype and that there are a variety of peoples in The USA.

I appreciate that you dropped the US episode on the 4th of July

I love the videos and how they have developed, maybe you could make a flag/ fan Friday of countries that didn’t get one like Australia or Belgium with extra information about the countries.

for those the flags are shown with in the main video. would be odd to do them twice.
