'Amazing Point' Flag Plaza to showcase Qatar's diversity
Flag Plaza is a community space located near MIA Park, dedicated to celebrating unity and cultural exchange.
The Flag Plaza is home to 119 national and coalition flags.
The Plaza was inaugurated on 4 October 2022 as part of the Years of Culture program, meant to encourage dialogue and deepen understanding between nations.
This is part of the Year of Culture initiative, an international cultural exchange programme that aims to improve understanding between nations and their people, which was first announced when Qatar won the bid to host the FIFA World Cup in 2022.
