I needed to replace my old rope on a venerable flag pole and this video, of all I searched was the best not only in explaining the roping techniques but showing me some techniques that improve the way my flagpole was configured - I moved from the old wooden dongle and rope to attach the flag to a snap system with grommets in the flag - much better.

I have been trying to design an anti-furl device for my flag kit for some time. I have used brass washers and bushing and drilled holes in them to install clips but nothing works. I tried the plastic ones for sale online and have had issues with them as well. Do you have any suggestions on hardware or know of any kits that have a pulley at the top? I have a fairly new telescoping flag pole one of the lengths won’t hold after I twist it to tighten , it will hold for a few minutes then it drops how can I keep it from falling ? Can I wrap electrical tape around it ?

Worst instructional video yet. When you're recording a how to video it's usually helpful when the cameraman zooms in to what the person's doing. I couldn't see anything about the knot with it zoomed so far out and your hand in the way -2/10
