Flagship Nordstrom Seattle - Documentary - 1998

Back in 1998, Quantum Productions shot and created a number of videos for the new downtown Flagship Nordstrom store. It was a huge project at the time to be awarded by the head of Nordstrom's internal video department.
We shot construction. We shot the big move across the street from the old store. We shot the employee rally at the Paramount Theater. We shot the grand opening. We shot an interview with Bruce Nordstrom. And we shot the downtown celebration festivities.
Then we edited multiple videos. Long ones. Not your typical 1-2 minute video length of today. Norb composed original music for all of them.
Some of our videos were then placed in a time capsule that would be buried under the store for 25 years. This is one of those videos.
Those 25 years have now passed, and the time capsule was opened on 8/21/2023. The videos we created
Hard to believe it's been 25 years since that time!

I still think of that building as Fredrick's & Nelson's department store. The home of Frangos!!!
