Thank you for the kind comment! Really appreciate the kind words ❤️🙂 The hip dac 3 is warmer, dc07 pro is neutral sounding. The hip dac 3 also has that fantastic xbass button. Hip dac 3 is a bit heavier to carry dc07 pro is a lot smaller.

The kensei has more wider soundstage and the ability of xbass and xspace and also k2hd which works really well. but the overall neutral nature of the dc07 pro is really something i like and use it often. Much better than the CDA M2 and a touch better than the KA17, but this requires sever a-b testing to notice. KA17 has it advantages with the eq so if thats somehthing you need go with that. where the ibasso really performs well is battery draw as it adopts to iem load very well and pulls less battery when needed. I sadly haven't tested the BTR7 so cannot say. But the btr7 is really good and probably would hold upto its own But a rule of thumb is wired is mostly better than wireless. Hi.. Plz help me out in deciding.. I want to upgrade my gear for a better sound.. Im unable to decide if I should upgrade my DAC keeping the source as apple music on iPhone 13 (or) should I get a DAP instead in the same budget (without DAC)? (₹25k - ₹30k). Plz suggest..

Dont pay so much attention on the source. First get a good iem of your choice and the one you can fit with your budget. After that see what you would like 1. Is just a good sound enough for you? Then just get a dongle DAC and be some with it. Something like a $100 dongle DAC and use it with your iPhone via apple music. You can also try the newly launched fiio btr17 2. Many people including me sometimes would like a separate device for music, podcasts, audio books etc. So dap is a better choice, but most DAP's are quite bulky and more importantly do take extra space if you want to listen outside. So after buying the iem and seeing which above situation fits you , make a budget and then get the required product ,🙂 Hope this helps 🙂 If you want Amy recommendation for DAC, dap for a certain budget do ask will try to help you out 🙂🙏 Sorry for the long reply

@@diamondhellspawnscorpion If sound is your only priority, them by a new iem..🙂 The biggest difference in sound always comes from the transducer/iem/headphone you are using. You already have a fantastic DAC with the go blu. Always remember that iem >> fit with eartips >>>>>> DAC/dap in order. If you buy Any decent DAC nowadays that should be more than enough 🙂 Dont worry too much about spending on DAC, i would suggest get a new iem. 🙂 I know its not the answer you are looking form, but i wanted to be honest with you

Both KA17 and DC7 pro are good. But KA17 has the EQ function via app which is useful something which the dc07 pro lacks. But dc07 pro is very good with power management and sips on battery. The KA17 is very power hungry and does get warm quite fast In terms of sound while both are fantastic, the DC07 pro sounds better than the ka17 in my opinion. Ka17 also has desktop mode which is really nice if you can supply external power to it and maybe use some headphones. While the dc07 pro is plenty powerful too, but you would need the CB19 cable from ibasso to make it sound better (I speak about the cable in my review) 🙂 Hope this helped
