Flamboyant Vintage Ponytail Swirl Barbie doll reroot with red Saran hair

#barbie #reroot #tutorial I finally found a Ponytail Swirl head for one of my projects and in this video I show you how to reroot a Ponytail Swirl Barbie doll head in red Saran hair. I've used a new technique and a new format to cut the video. It's now in HD for you. As always we use the Lock and Loop method for rerooting and keep in mind that we do only the two outer lines with hairs. Ponytail Swirl Barbie dolls are bold in the middle of their heads, like the early Ponytail Barbie dolls. That's normal. I don't know if I mentioned it in this video but you see me twice working on her side streak. The first time I take all streaks from the side and in the second video I divide the streaks in half. I don't know if it's perfectly visible.

In pretty sure based on the texture of the hair swirl ponytails use Mohair. But I could be wrong. It feels much softer than saran

I think it's the closest to the original that you can get. Saran is a little bit shinier than the orignal. I ordered this hair at restoredoll.com.
