I loved how much detail you put into Flame Princess. Some doll makers like to keep the doll simple, but I *LOVE* how you dusted her face with glitter and gave her freckles that was a very good detail to add. Love your videos! ❤

Just had an idea that might well help with the chipping: Try coating the joints in a mixture of pastel & craft glue (the kind that everyone pretended was peeling skin in school). The glue isn’t strong enough to freeze the joints but it should lend some flexibility & it dries clear so it won’t mess with the colour-match. I’m not sure how it will interact with MSC so do a test doll first.

Try a clear matte plastic sealant for the body! It seems to work really well! You can find it in the spray paint section of any hardware store!

Mozekyto I use “Rust-Oleum’s painters Touch, matte Clear” it’s non-yellowing, up resistant and it’ll say in pretty big words that it bonds to plastic! So far my Winx Bloom doll hasn’t chipped!

For the joints, I think a coat of a matte varnish or sealant would help the pastels to stick better and give a more secure seal. If it is too glossy a coat of MSC would make everything matte again

I recently watched DollMotion and she tried dying the bodies with Ritmore dye to change the body color. I just tried it myself, and included the head. The body was a lt olive, and the head was grey. They both came out fantastically and the same color. Much easier than pastels and MSC and it still might chip. :)

I haven't tried this myself yet but have you tried taking a little sand paper to the bodies of he dolls before repainting them? Lol, not sure if it would work but hey. Ya never know :)
