I’ve never seen anything like this before. I’m 31. I’m black. Born and raised in inner city DC and am looking into taking dance classes for a positive activity and this...this..just might be something I’d take a dive into. I got into South American Salsa and Son dance 2016. It's the best thing I'd ever done besides education and getting married. It has opened my eyes and educated me in terms of history of African influences in South American cultures and its people and of course Spanish and Portuguese African influences through music and dance. I went to a flamenco dance at El Palacio Andaluz, it was amazing! I was spellbound at the skill of the dancers and the way they told the story! Well worth it to see the genuine dance! They truly captured the emotion within the dance. Beautiful

It's a typical flamenco dress. Flamenco bailaores train in those dresses and practice with even more complicated ones. Some have very long "tails" and there are dance steps to move the tail however you want etc.

Por qué molesta a alguien que se produzcan comentarios en árabe y sin embargo no molesta que se hagan en inglés o en chino?. Es más lógico que lo entienda y valore un árabe, porque el arte flamenco ha bebido de sus fuentes en sus inicios y se a ido renovando, tratando de no perder sus raices. Ojalá en España hubiéramos empezado a estudiar arte (de todo tipo), muchísimos años antes.

No hay cosa que me moleste más que la gente ignorante dando lecciones de todo. El Flamenco es GITANO ( GYPSY ) Los gitanos son originarios de la India. Los gitanos que llegaron a España en el siglo XV, trajeron sus danzas, sus instrumentos, las castañuelas, por ejemplo. Si no conoces del tema, por favor, abstente de decir tonterías.. El arte no se estudia. Salvo que te refieras a estudiar Historia del Arte. Los artistas nacen NO SE HACEN.
