Flamepaw storyboard - history has its eyes on you

This is just a sketchy little storyboard/animatic for an idea that’s been floating around my brain since reading the blurb for the upcoming warriors arc! I love the idea that Flamepaw is intimidated by having firestar as his great grandpa and feels so nervous about living up to expectations that he has what he thinks are anxiety fueled dreams/nightmares about it...I dunno I just thought it was fun :3

This is something I REALLY want to happen in the books, I want Firestar to visit Flamepaw/Nightheart in his dreams, the way it happened in the old arcs, and for Firestar to explain to Nightheart/Flamepaw that he wasn’t always perfect, and even though he is mostly known for his heroic deeds, he made plenty of mistakes along that path.

One of the biggest problems we currently face is understanding the struggles of those who manage to succeed. When we see the leaders and success stories we are never told about their failures or mistakes before they became successful. I’m not talking about the 1%, or those born into wealth. I’m talking about people who succeed despite the odds. The only true failure is giving up. Firestar wasn’t perfect. No one is. All we can do is try our best, and not give up when we fall. And we all will fall. As long as we get back up, that’s all that matters.

I love this so much !!! Hamilton x Warriors is the best thing and this song fits Nightheart's situation so much ! I really feel a big Night and Fire bonding moment when the latter visits his grand grand kid in a dream would be the best thing to help Nightheart get free of his insecurities. After all, Firestar too had struggled to live up to his clanmates' expectations.

Why didn't this happen with *inhale* lionblaze,jayfeather,fernsong,flipclaw,snaptooth,alderheart,cloudtail,dewnose,snowbush,bayshine,larksong>? All of the characters I've listed have two things in common: They are toms, and they are related to Firestar. Lionblaze is son of Leafpool who is daughter of Firestar. Jayfeather is son of Leafpool who is daughter of Firestar. Fernsong is son of Lionblaze who is son of Leafpool who is daughter of Firestar. Flipclaw is son of Fernsong who is son of Lionblaze who is son of Leafpool who is daughter of Firestar. Snaptooth is son of Lionblaze who is son of Leafpool who is daughter of Firestar. Alderheart is son of Squirrelflight who is daughter of Firestar. Cloudtail is son of Princess who is a sister of Firestar. Dewnose is son of Cloudtail who is son of Princess who is a sister of Firestar. Snowbush is son of Cloudtail who is son of Princess who is a sister of Firestar. Bayshine is son of Dewnose who is son of Cloudtail who is son of Princess who is a sister of Firestar. Larksong is son of Snowbush who is son of Cloudtail who is son of Princess who is a sister of Firestar. All of these cats (except Snowbush, Snaptooth and Larksong) are currently alive within ThunderClan as of Shadow. What makes Nightheart different? Alderheart would have been a poster-child for this kind of drama, especially since he resembles Firestar much more than Nightheart.
