That's why she wasn't allowing Rajat to come up to her house, since her dad is at home and he probably doesn't know that his daughter is dating someone. @Meister Incognito I am an adult, I felt the same way for a while, thought its too prudish and all. But I've don't like a lot of research genuinely not on the internet and came to a conclusion that. They had a really good reason for controlling the sexuality of our society in our cultures, I am a Punjabi so ofcoarse mine is way different but the prudism is a common factor. The reason I am still researching so wouldn't write what it is.

that's because our elders are getting less n less strict as time passes on which is because people are getting the concept of 'minding own' s business ' all wrong. like 10 years ago we cared if a stranger would scold us for doing something stupid at school or at bus stop or anywhere... which kept the butterflies flying and made it cute sneaking to do things... now everybody just is trying to be bold and unknowingly a little bit arrogant in certain cases... there is a reverse card for that.. first step is to restrict the introduction to COOL things to certain age limit n we shall preserve some innocence here.

This is something only the children born before 2003-04 will relate to the most because our teenage school years were exactly this... Technology was not too much into the picture and stuff like video calling was not prominent. It was all about calls & texts and that's cute. PDA is something we used to fear a lot, even holding hands in public was too nerve cracking for most of us in our school days. Fear of parents is also something that was more prominent before than now. On one hand I like that we should accept teen dating to an extent but on the other hand I feel that something is lost when we stop trying to hide our sweetheart's photo inside the cupboard somewhere or sneaking on the phone to make a call midnight or buying gifts for her, stuffing it deep inside the tuition bag to avoid getting caught by parents... God those days are nostalgic, it was cringe if you ask me (at 21) now but that's our sweet innocent school days. Adulthood should be left for college.
