I was 7 yo when this song aired on tv screens in Australia. The music video etched in my memory for many reasons. The red dress Kate wore in the music video, the vocals, the hypnotic movements of Kate, the haunting trees in the background. But most of all the reality of my mother losing her fight with cancer in August 1978 and this connection to this song resonates with me to this day. A wonderful moment by many to celebrate a timeless musical masterpiece by Kate Bush. I wish I was there....

I love that this isn’t even strictly choreographed-everyone’s imitating Kate Bush’s dance, but it’s not rehearsed, their movements are not quite aligned, not everyone is on the beat. It’s just an organic, free, and fun way to celebrate a shared love of a song/artist.
