Seriously, it's baffling people are actually defending the stupidity of the passengers on board (with the exception of the kid who was pressured into it). I could care less about natural selection than the many boat accidents and tragedies that kill hundreds of people a day, with boats that are *actually designed* to keep people safe, yet they don't bother to talk about that on the news do they?
@Gr33nP3as Жыл бұрын
To be blunt, they were pretty much asking for it. They had basically 0 destructive tests for the submersible's hull, utilized carbon fiber for their submersible's hull which could not handle the water pressure at the depths of the titanic, had a control system for the submersible that would constantly disconnect rendering no communications access for 2-4 hours, fired their submarine safety expert, underwent multiple excursions using the submarine that imploded (4, which possibly contributed to the implosion due to a weakened hull). In summary, it was pretty scuffed. Big f. Edit: By no means am I trying to say that they deserved to die, but considering all the risks involved due to Rush's incompetence, it was bound to happen, which is what I meant by "they were pretty much asking for it". As for the passengers, OceanGate asked their customers to sign waivers that highlighted the possibility of death and physical injury, as well as the issues with the submarine that experts had previously warned them about. Which is why many people called it a "death waiver". Overall, most of the problems we see here stem from negligence.

To be fair, they used a Logitech controller to control it, and the controller survived. Not only that, but it was illegal, and the submarine was barely made out of bad materials. Edit: I know they use Xbox controllers in the military, but that's because the new recruits are used to them, and they are better than Logitech. The guy forced his son on there as well, even though he was scared and didn't want to go, so even the death waver argument isn't a good defense in this case.

I think about how much the Titanic is basically romanticized in the entertainment industry to the point where we forget that it's a real event that happened in only the preceding century. But it has been long enough now that the people who were directly affected by it are pretty much all gone, which is why we think it's okay for all of these insensitive things based off of it to exist. But it shouldn't be. It was still a tragedy. A much worse tragedy than this recent event.

Albert is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating individuals in history. He is known for his contribution to the field of physics, particularly his theory of relativity. However, there is more to Albert than his brilliant mind. Albert was a man with a sense of humor, a knack for mischief, and a unique perspective on life. In this essay, I would like to explore how we can appreciate the many facets of Albert's character. Firstly, we should appreciate how wonderful Albert is. Albert's intellect was extraordinary, and he made significant contributions to physics that changed the way we understand the world. His theory of relativity challenged the traditional Newtonian laws of physics, and his work on the photoelectric effect helped develop the field of quantum mechanics. While it is tempting to focus solely on his intellectual achievements, we must also recognize Albert's personal qualities, such as his passion for peace and his commitment to social justice. Secondly, we should appreciate how silly Albert could be. Albert was known for his sense of humor, and he was not afraid to let his hair down and have a good time. He once said, "I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious." This attitude is reflected in his playful approach to life. For example, Albert enjoyed playing the violin, and he would often stop in the middle of a lecture to dance around the room. We should not overlook these playful moments; they reveal an aspect of Albert's character that is often overshadowed by his intellectual achievements. Thirdly, we should appreciate how hilarious Albert could be. Albert had a sharp wit and a dry sense of humor that could leave his audience in stitches. He once quipped, "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." This observation is not only humorous but also insightful. Albert had a way of cutting through complex issues and presenting them in a way that was both hilarious and profound. Finally, we should appreciate how cool Albert was. Albert had an effortless sense of style and a rebellious streak that made him an icon of his time. He was known for his wild hair, quirky fashion sense, and carefree attitude. He was also a vocal advocate for peace and social justice, which made him a hero to many. To appreciate how cool Albert was, we need only look at the impact he had on popular culture. His image has been used in countless movies, TV shows, and advertisements, cementing his status as a cultural icon. In conclusion, we should appreciate the many facets of Albert's character. He was not just an intellectual heavyweight but also a man with a sense of humor, a love of life, and a commitment to social justice. By appreciating all these aspects of Albert, we can gain a deeper understanding of who he was and what he stood for.

I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on bacon. hail bacon. hail bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing.
