At 2:24, the formula shown does not account for washer thickness. The actual formula used in the industry is, L= g + 2 ( s + n + w + h + rf ). Where L is length of stud bolt, g is gasket thickness, s is standoff, n is nut height, w is washer thickness, h is flange thickness and rf is height of raised face.
