Out of several videos, you're the only one that got it correct!! Especially the interval setting. If you want a 25 second long exposure and a 2 second interval, one adds 25 + 2 for a 27 second interval. If you want to run indefinitely until the camera battery dies, set No. to '- -' or '0''. Great instruction video.

I have watched several Vello Shutter Boss videos but this is the first one that actually explained in detail every function and how they interact with each other, especially the interval timer. Also connects the functions to great photographic examples of why you would use each function. Many Thanks.

If you leave the LONG setting to 0, does it follow whatever shutter speed the camera has at that moment?

Jason, thanks for the overview. With the Fuji does the Fuji LCD screen display the Exposure Indicator between/during interval shooting and can one manual change the shutter speed on the Fuji? I have the X-T2 and looking to do some Day to Night timelapse.

Yes and No. If you are using the Remote to control the shutter duration it will not show the exposure indicator because your camera has to be in bulb mode which means the camera has no idea what to display for exposure. In this mode you can still set the ISO and Aperture though, so if you gave yourself enough of a delay between shots and set the camera to display the picture for review after each shot, you could eyeball it in using those 2 settings. BUT if you set the remote long exposure to 0 seconds and instead set the exposure time on your camera, then yes, the exposure indicator displays. You can also adjust the exposure, ISO, and Aperture between every shot. In all cases, the remote just acts like a virtual finger press on the shutter button. Hopefully that helps.

Do you know if it’s possible to set the camera to take burst photos too?
@FlarecorpMedia3 жыл бұрын
I suppose you could if you put your camera in burst mode and then set the shutter boss to take a 1 second exposure. I *think* it would cause your camera to fire in burst for 1 second, but haven't tried it

3 years late, but inhave am R6 mark 1 and you can do burst by holding the shutter release button on the Vello.
