i hated when he had to sell Flash, but he really needed the money plus Flash needed to be taken care of it was all for the best thank you once again, all this movie did was boost my love for riding and for horses

I swear, this movie taught me to work hard, act responsibly, treat horses with respect, separate want from need, and give up my "wants" for my horse.

back when I was a kid, I didn't understand why connor would have sold flash just for the coffin. it's weird but now I totally understand and I would have done the same thing. this is such a good movie and such a great depiction of a brave boy. i hope i can be half as brave as that kid someday.

Well I guess I've been schooled, clearly you are better at analyzing the intricacies of "Flash"'s plot than I am. My hat's off to you!

@estlgurl06 it seemed the whole town was in financial trouble, $1000 seems pretty reasonable for a coffin.

He could have sold all that other junk to help them both survive....instead, he hangs on to it all and once she's dead, sells it all PLUS his treasured horse so that his grandma's dead corpse can be buried in a thousand-dollar box? People's logic sometimes....

@TheRealSexyTimmy He was 14, not 10. Makes a huge difference. Still not legal, but a 14 year old is far more mature.

@madgawgs12 жыл бұрын
so this was not somthing he planned for and with his grandma working she probably gave him hope that things where going to get better not worse. With his grandma working they had money comeing in so they did not have to worry about selling things at that momnet. Now if she had lost her job b4 she died and he still did not sell 'HIS" things that would have been a different story, and In that case then would your omment be logical.

I can't believe that kid did all that for his Gma to be buried in a nice casket. I would have just kept what they gave him.

Not to sound nasty but give me a man lwith an accent like connor's and I'll be satisfied
