Flash "Brindisi" Opera at 2014 All Things Italian Street Festival - Fairfield, IA

Saturday, June 14th 2014. All Things Italian Festival. Fairfield, Iowa. Well over 50 singers comprised of soloists from a statewide opera company as well as local musicians surprised a group of over 3000 festival goers with a flash mob performance of the famed "Brindisi" from La Traviata.

Absolutely Outstanding !!! To see how the singers lit up the faces of the crowd and the children - so cleverly choreographed, you didn't know who was going to sing next - this is the best one I have seen I was smiling with joy all the way through- just watching it on KZbin 💖💕💖

This was the most memorable event at the Festival. I was on the front row with my granddaughter and we loved every second of it! Don't blink at 3:54 and you'll see us in the bottom right corner. She's in a stroller and I'm in a red shirt. Fun times.

I love these opera singer flash mobs....it's fun to see how the people react to them. They seem to feel the need to take photos of them (and maybe to record the sounds of their singing, I suppose.)

Would you believe crazy scenes like this with opera lovers happen in Australia, out the middle of nowhere, in the bush, in the blazing hot sun...People love it. Not surprising, given that the 2 greatest ever female opera singers, the late great Dame Joan Sutherland, from Sydney and Dame Nellie Melba before her, from Melbourne were Aussies. singers
