On a serious note: I grew up in the Philadelphia area, and went to college in the city. The daily murders in the news--and in Philly, it's an everyday thing--rarely mentioned the race of the people involved back then (I don't know if it's different now). But if you lived/worked in the city as a white person, you KNEW you were/are a target. You KNOW which neighborhoods not to be in (the Black ones). I've known some fine black people in my life but living near or in predominantly black areas is just not safe for a white person. It's just not safe. Period.
