I wonder if on the ‘flash the set’ videos you could show a montage of some of the lower grades? I think I’d get some tips / inspiration from watching you climb grades that are more comparable to what I’m capable of (although appreciate it’s less exciting content!)

One thing to keep in mind is that when climbers are way above the level of a boulder, they might end up climbing it with "worse" technique because every hold is a giga-jug to them and they don't need a very good beta. So they will sometimes skip half the holds and fly up the wall. Often the best people to emulate are the people who are a few grades up but not in a different galaxy.

I think Louis's strength was his downfall - on the first green he fell on, he tried to actually use that tiny one finger hold. Most people would take one look at that and look for a way to avoid it 😅

Just some feedback: I found the cuts in the earlier climbs a bit jarring / not that fun to watch - sped up would have been better if you were looking to make it more montagey? I want to see the flow of the movement personally

I see you are using La Sportiva Mantra :) could you please say what is your street shoe size and what size is your mantra? Because I think this shoe really interesting, I’m just a bit afraid of the size, since I don’t want to down size that much, otherwise I will lose the softness it provides. Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi Gabriel, our best advise is know that softer compy shoes like this can stretch but the best and only real advice we can give is to go to somewhere that stocks them and try them on in varying sizes. Everyone fits shoes differently and want different things from them!

How do you like the mantras ? And how did you size them compared to your theory ? Nice climb, you have an infinite amount of energy it seems !

The Mantras are AMAZING! mega soft and sensitive - absolutely LOVE them! I get them the same size as the theories, but to be sure you're making the right sizing choice I'd always recommend going into a shop and trying them on if possible! Very best wishes, Louis
