when I read on the blog, gel nails are "kinda-safe" over acrylic. but gel nails are shinier over acrylic so it doesn't look so natural, acrylic on the other hand has a strong smell, but as I said earlier I think it's kinda toxic over gel.

No. You need hard-gel (sculpting gel) and nail forms (like the green/silver in the video). The SH kit is simply soft-gel polish (pigmented) with a base (for adhesion) & a top coat for extra shine & durability. If you want gel nail extensions, Young Nails sells on Amazon (unless you have a Manicurist license, you can buy directly from them). I recommend watching tutorials from Young Nails on hard gel nail extensions.

The only time its ever burned for me is when it got on my skin and then put it under the light.

Yes it does. It’s better to do thinner coats to reduce the burn, aka heat spikes

acrylic are so damaging and use a lot of chemicals and use powder and gel nails are just gel

acrylic nails is a powder and a liquid which cures when they touch, whereas gel cures in the uv(-or led) lamp. also gel is easier to work with if you are a beginner because you have more time to do what you want, but with acrylic you only hsve 2-3 minutes(max).
