Just received mine. Lucky me, it comes with a lumintop cap, a carrying pouch and a handle as freebies. My first flashlight over 20k lumens. It definitely bright in person but really gets hot very quickly even with the fan on

The fan sure makes a hell of a difference. I thought about the Luminto DF11 for a little further throw, but without a fan I am thinking it will stepdown quick and I will be underwhelmed

If it used XHP50.3 instead of the old XHP50.2 and six 21700s instead of a giant proprietary battery, I'd be a lot more interested.

@@nicodimus2222Agree on the LEDs, but the cell is not proprietary -- it's an eve 4950 cell with their wrapping. Admittedly it's pretty hard to find currently, but that should change. I like the idea and got one...

​@@nicodimus2222Because Tesla needed a battery that would charge faster and have more capacity, it was designed as it was needed the only reason why it hasn't been seen out in the open until now is because it's been going into their ev's. Same thing when the 21700 came out, that too was designed for electric vehicles. This is just the first of what will be many to come. Imagine this with a nichia 219b 🥰

What is that, asks the lady? Blind is what it is! I thought the Amutorch was something of a monster. 2500 lumens for 8 hours is very good. I love the battery capacity. Aside from charging it in the light I wonder if there will be ways to charge these big cells in a dedicated charger. I have been looking for a light using the XHP50 LEDs this might be the one to get. I was talking about the large cell earlier and how it'll be tough to charge if the Type-C port fails. I suspect having a 2nd rechargeable 46950 flashlight is the best bet.
