I have a fitech in my 96 camaro 5.3 build, I love it, the car is completely revamped and just feels like it’s got power and drive, thank you fitech for making this a super simple system to install and use I’m hoping to get my tags really soon

Pulled the carb off my dads car and did this, its been headaches. Constantly resetting and going through the steps over and over every few months. At this point I think its time to put a carb back on the Nova

Hello, I am sorry to hear that. Have you reached out to our tech support team for assistance in order to help solve this problem? Also, if you are in the Riverside, California area we will be having dyno days where we do free tuning for customers. This will be September 14, 2024.

I have 1985 el camino, and I put LS 5.3 fitech system and I have problems sitting the Targ and AFR to make the car run right. It hesitates when accelerating while I'm driving
@FiTechEFImedia9 ай бұрын
To adjust fueling on acceleration you would want to adjust the accel pump settings under the tuning menu.

Nice video, important to know! But, a few gray areas remain. You have to turn the IAC learn to "ON" in order to make your idle adjustments & once you have dialed in your idle what do you do to terminate this sequence of IAC adjustments? Do you have to key off, then back on & turn IAC learn "OFF"? What exactly are the final steps here?
@FiTechEFImedia3 жыл бұрын
IAC learn should be left on. To set the IAC steps you need to turn on the IAC set mode ON. This will lock the TPS to 0 while you open and close the throttle with the adjustment screw. Once your IAC steps are between 3-10 the key can be turned off. The ECU will save and turn the IAC set mode back OFF.

While waiting for a call back seen this video and all the steps still can't get it to idle. When I try it starts to run away.

Hi, i would like to know how to save the changes, i entered some calibration inputs but everytime that i turned off the car those values are changed. And i must to do all steps again.
@FiTechEFImedia Жыл бұрын
Hello, are you pressing "OK" on each input after changing it? This saves the value in the handheld. You must press ok after each line you save.

My iac steps bounce from 0 to 3 some times 1 2 or 4 from zero but never sits on zero was topd normally when iac is set thats how it will be
@FiTechEFImedia9 ай бұрын
this is perfectly normal. Do not work about these small IAC fluctuations.

Guys not sure if I’ll ever get a reply, but my IAC values are super high for a second while starting, then the vehicle dies. I’ve made every adjustment possible to the screw but it will not idle so I’m guessing it’s another issue warm up fuel and afterstart fuel, I’ve tried playing with those also but I’ve tried dozens of combinations and I’ve gotten it as best I can but it still won’t stay running for more than a couple seconds

I have a question. I dont know how often you check these comments, but here goes. Have you ever heard of someone having the throttle stick open? Im dealing with this now. There is no issue with the throttle cable, no linkage problems, it only happens intermitantly but its been happening.Just wondering if you had any thoughts on this?
@FiTechEFImedia9 ай бұрын
Most throttle sticking issues are due to binding in a throttle cable or rod.

I do not have the idle set mode on my handheld. What do I do now?

I have the 30008 and no Idle Set Mode on mine either. Is that why my IAC steps change every time I set them to 3-10 and the next day I have to start all over again? I believe I know exactly how to save changes on the handheld.

Ugh! Getting ahold of you guys on the phone is like pulling teeth. Love the 1200PA system I have, but Im going to the dyno on Tuesday and Im not feeling confident with the tuner being able to get ahold of anyone if he has questions. 🤨
@FiTechEFImedia3 жыл бұрын
Hello, we understand that our wait times can be long on our tech line at times but our techs will take time with each customer to answer all of their questions and help them troubleshoot. If you were to call and the tuner takes 20 minutes or more to get his questions answered we will give him those 20 minutes much like every caller. Unfortunately that does cause delays at times but you will get off the phone with the answers you were looking for.
@ss00733 жыл бұрын
@@FiTechEFImedia I understand where you are coming from….I get it. I can only hope the tuner pauses the money clock if he is on hold.
