This is not for escape, the mind does not ‘turn off’. These videos allow the mind to travel round-trip back in time, and the heart rides shotgun. And the way Dave does these vids are the perfect formula.

So from the shows advertised for fall programming and the Labor Day commercial, this probably aired in Aug 1994, so almost exactly 30 years ago. Man, I'd be starting up football practice of my freshman year of high school. Takes me back... Thanks again for a wonderful, nostalgia filled video Dave!

Oh man, the circuit city ad really took me back. Those classic computers ❤
@CommodoreFan645 ай бұрын
Those retro computers were fire, but Circuit City was a ripoff with employees earning commision, so instead of helping customers they did their damndest to push customers to buy more expensive products than what they really needed, or wanted, so they earned more commision.

No matter which decade or which part of the Country the commercials came from, I know that Dave's gonna crank out some instant classics(he always does). On that note, another great video in the books Dave 👍🏽😎👍🏽📺📼

1:01 Zima was a clear, lightly carbonated alcoholic beverage made and distributed by the Coors Brewing Company. Introduced in 1993, it was marketed as an alternative to beer, an example of what is now often referred to as a cooler, with 4.7-5.4% alcohol by volume. Its production in the United States ceased in October 2008

These commercials are way more creative than what you see now days. Today, it’s all high budget sets and equipment. Back then, they made golden content with what they had. Today, it’s over-produced and not as thoughtful.
